Nestor is a senior executive with over 20 years of international leadership and management experience in both private and public sectors. His areas of expertise include government relations, public relations, international management, healthcare, education, contracting, and security.
Nestor is a master interlocutor among diverse, organizations and is particularly effective in adverse settings. He has extensive experience working with foreign governments and advising senior U.S. government officials in Latin America, Europe, Africa, and Asia.
Nestor coordinated democratic program initiatives for Latin America at the National Democratic Institute in Washington, DC. He created and implemented logistic programs and served as the Press and Protocol Liaison for law enforcement agencies at the U.S. Embassy in Lima, Peru.
With the U.S. Department of State, Nestor managed a portfolio of security programs and multi-million dollar budgets for U.S. missions worldwide. As Senior Director for Latin America and the Caribbean of a private security firm, Nestor developed new business and managed a wide variety of clients.
As Vice President of Southern New Hampshire University in Beijing, China, Nestor launched a China-wide extension of the MBA program. He routinely guides teams to improve efficiency, morale, and cross-cultural communication in both large and small organizations.
Originally from Bolivia, Nestor grew up in the United States. He has a Bachelor’s of Science in Economics and a Master’s Degree in International Business, both from the University of Maryland.
