Ana Margarita Martínez

Ana Margarita Martínez has a B.A. in International Relations by ITESM Campus Monterrey and a Master’s degree in Development, Innovation and Change by the University of Bologna. She was part of the Congressional Affairs office in the Embassy of Mexico in Washington, D.C., where she was responsible of monitoring the legislative agenda of the U.S. Congress focusing on topics of relevance for U.S.- Mexico relations.
She worked as deputy director of Research to support international policies analysis at the Gilberto Bosques Centre of International Studies (CEIGB) of the Mexican Senate, specializing in U.S. and Mexico relations and international development. Ana contributed in research focused on the gender gap caused by digitalization during her participation in the Managing Global Academy hosted by the German Development Institute (DIE).
At Global Nexus, Ana is responsible for preparing weekly and monthly political climate analysis reports.
